"Come to the operation theatre", the Head Doctor announced.
The class was very excited, after studying theory for so long, they were going to do some practise for the first time. They lined up and qued slowly into the operation theatre, latex gloves were donned on each hand. They saw that a body was lying behind a green sheet. The sheet parted at the patients chest, which was clean and ready to be opened up.
The Head Doctor said,"Now brace yourself for the shock of your life. You are now going to see a very closely guarded medical secret. This is where theory departs from real life".
The students followed the Head Doctor to the table. With a Steel Scaple, the Head Doctor sliced open the chest, and parted the rib cage. Between the oozing blood, the students watched in amazement. The pumping heart.... It was an...... The girl with the black bindi because unconscious and was escorted out. The Head Doctor realizing the shock experienced by the young Doctors, said "Yes, you have now come to know of it. The heart is exactly like an Onion"!!
With this the Head Doctor now started making delicate cuts on the heart (Onion). He revealed the different layers hidden there. "Each of these layers have different depth and control the emotions of the man/woman.And each human has a different combination of layers and depths". Then he quickly went through the operation, as the students watched, still trying to digest the truth. Finally as the Head doctor made the stitches and closed the operation, the boy with the shining eyes asked, "What is the innermost layer of the heart, I mean the Onion" ?
